MINDFULNESS COACHING

TRAINING

We can think of mindfulness training as similar to physical workouts. When we go to the gym, we increase strength, endurance, and flexibility, which make our everyday lives better and healthier. In addition, we can enjoy those qualities in any specific endeavor we choose, from sports to work to hobbies.

Mindfulness also develops three main skills - concentration, clarity, and equanimity - which enhance every area of our lives. In general, these abilities allow us to find less suffering in negative experiences and enjoy greater fulfillment in positive ones. They promote overall well-being and mental fitness.

These skills can also be used to address particular issues or apply to any goals. Millions of people are looking for relief from PTSD, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression. Millions more are trying to cultivate serious personal transformation and liberation in a secular, yet warm, kind, and contemplative approach. Mindfulness practice is a spectrum that encompasses all of these, and more.

It has five main benefits:

Relief - minimizing suffering

Satisfaction - maximizing fulfillment and happiness

Wisdom - understanding yourself at every level

Mastery - acting in skillful and helpful ways

Service - helping others from a place of love

I coach individual clients, both face-to-face and over Skype. In the initial consultation, we'll assess your particular needs and goals to see if we'd be a good fit to work together. If we decide to continue, I'll design a specific plan based on your objectives. After that, we'll meet frequently in order to tweak and fine-tune the approach to make sure it's meeting your needs, even if they change.

I also work with groups. Whether it's a school, business, clinic, hospital, recovery center, or anything else, I'm thrilled to bring mindfulness training to crowds from two to two hundred.

Speaking

I'm available for presentations and speaking engagements. Many groups and organizations are interested in learning more about mindfulness, and I consider that an essential part of my job. Whether you're interested in an employee mindfulness program, curious about its benefits, or simply looking to gain a better understanding of the principles and methods, I can help.
